First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

It was absolutely surreal. There I was laying on the hospital operating room table and hearing the cry of the newest addition to the Spezzano family. Oh how long I had waited to hear that little voice! It seemed like an eternity from the time that I heard the doctor say "He's crying and he's not even all the way out yet- that's a good sign" to the time that they brought him around the curtain to me and let me see my little boy. Oh the tears that flowed! The tears of joy, the tears of relief, the tears that just wouldn't stop. He was Finally here!

Joshua Aaron Spezzano, born November 17, 2008 at 5:01 a.m. 7lbs 4oz and 20 inches long. He is perfect! He looks just like his daddy and is the strongest most alert little thing I have ever seen! He's bound to be swinging a hammer with his daddy in no time at all! :)

Thank you to all for the well wishes and prayers. The Lord has blessed so tremendously. We had a picture perfect pregnancy! No health problems. And even though we ended up having Joshua by ceserean, the Lord provided the entire time with the most wonderful, caring hospital and medical staff! While the furniture was uncomfortable (for Jim) we were treated as if guests in a hotel and Joshua had wonthe hearts of most of the nurses before our stay was ended! Stay tuned for pictures and more posts of the joys of Motherhood! :P

Can Poppas' cry? You betcha. Tears a great joy, from inside a heart over flowing with Thanksgiving to God who has been so good. From a heart so full of Love that its not able to contain it all. Yes, Poppas' can cry. He can cry for his first born, The very essences of his being. A little girl that was the essence of right and wrong and everything that is orderly. The first of little hands that held to his neck and gave hugs that caused floods of tears to stream down his face because the God of Heaven was so gracious and loving to him. He can cry for his second born, The reflection of his happyness. A little girl, so full of beauty inside and out with an ever present smile that melts his heart and asures him that God must loved him because of the great gift he had given him. Poppas' can cry for his Baby Girl who's voice is as beautiful as an angel singing. A little girl who made a Poppa's heart sing songs of joy to his God. Poppas' can cry For his Son. Even though he comes last he is first. As was God own Son. He is the outward expression of a Poppas and Gods strength. He is the perpetuation of a Poppa. And Now a Poppa can cry tears of happyness, for the joy that he has known in the Lord is forever. A Poppa can cry tears of happyness, for the blessings he has received at the hands of a Mighty God and knowing that this same God is still on his Throne, Still Blessing From Generation to Generation. And a Poppa Can cry tears from knowing that the blessings of God to him will be enjoyed by them that were a blessing. God has Blessed me with wonderful children and grandchildren and Borrowed children.
Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:
My God has Blessed Me and Continues to Bless Me and He has Blessed You and Rest Assured He will continue to Bless You and Joshua. Love From a Poppa that was ordained By God to spread His Love.

Is it crazy that when work gets crazy and stressful I come back to look at this picture? That is one peaceful baby you have...at least in this picture. :-)
