Tooth Be or Not Tooth Be...

.... that has been the AGONIZING question for the past several months... Joshua was exhibiting most of the signs a child would possess when teething (i.e. chewing on everything, drooling, crankiness...etc) but we never saw the first sign of a tooth! Well FINALLY- his little chompers are breaking ground! It's common for children to get their two bottom teeth first and then their top teeth start to cut... but NOT Joshua... he has to do everything differently. He has cut one top tooth and now a bottom tooth (on the same side as the top tooth) and it appears that a second top tooth is going to cut through any day now!

Thankfully, he has not learned yet that those teeth can be used for biting mamma! :) He has however instinctively learned how to grind his two teeth! Eckkk what a sound!

I believe the tooth fairy came in the middle of the night and planted that tooth that Kyle just lost about a month ago. It was his last baby tooth at 20 years old that just came out. I hope the tooth fairy disinfectted it well.

Yikes...I got chills just thinking of him grinding his baby teeth together. That sound gives me the heebie-jeebies!
