10 Things I Wish My Son Wouldn't Do

10. Pitch Fits at EVERYTHING
9. Act like he KNOWS everything, and I know NOTHING
8. Ignore people at church
7. Get out of his bed to play with his toys at night
6. Ask 10 BAJILLION questions on the 5 minute car rides to the store
5. Put his fingers in his ears during song services at church
4. Constantly ask for food ALL DAY long
3. Slam doors when he's mad
2. Grab EVERYTING in his reach off the counters, desk, dressers, night tables, dining table etc.

AND THE NUMBER 1 THING I WISH MY SON WOULDN'T DO

SCREAM AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS (when he is mad, or when he is excited)

Wait...screaming at the top of your lungs is bad? Is that why Daniel refuses to be seen in public with me? Shoot.

Thanks for not painting the "motherhood is all rainbows and unicorns all day every day" picture. Your honesty and love for Joshua is much appreciated by all of us who have only seen motherhood from the outside looking in. :-)

:) Yeah, motherhood is NOT for the faint of heart! But just think of how proud you will be when he is all grownup and a Fine, Outstanding, Smart, Go-getter of a young man!
