Gajilinth Haircut

I feel like I have cut Joshua's hair more than any other mom has cut a child's hair in 18 months. The last hair cut went fairly well. I cut it while he was taking a bath. However it is not his FAVORITE thing.
He has recently been showing much interest in Jim's electric razor. Jim pretends to shave Joshua's face when he is shaving. So we thought we would give the electric hair trimmer a try. We were going to do it on Sunday, and got busy and forgot. Then we were going to do it on Monday, but it just got too late, so I couldn't wait any longer. While Jim was at work yesterday, I got out the hair trimmer, sat down with Joshua in my lap and the longest comb (#7) on the trimmer and went to town.

I don't know why I haven't been using this thing the whole time. It made his hair cutting a cinch, and the results were FAR BETTER than when I was going willy-nilly with the scissors! :)

How cool! I am so glad he is such a big boy and enjoys how big boys get their haircut! I guess Lindsey's bangs getting cut don't really count as a hair cut! The sad thing is, its been 6 weeks, and her bangs still look "just cut." Crazy how hair grows on some and not others!

That little Boy is so cute. He makes a Poppa proud at what a big boy he is.

Whoa!! When did he suddenly go from the itsy bitsy baby in the post before this to the man-child in this post?

I am all for the clippers. I have been cutting Noah's hair for ages. I am not brave enough to go willy-nilly with scissors, so my dad takes Aeden to the "real haircut lady who pulls my hair." Aeden is waaaay overdue for a cut though, so there is a good chance I will be following your lead this weekend.
